Weekly Playlists: May Week Three

Summer is here- finally! With it comes a new set of tunes to jam out to during your sunny commute. The sun rises early these days, and your daily playlist should be fresh and new as well. Here are five new tracks to add to your commute playlist.

“I Of The Storm” by Of Monsters And Men

This is a very calm track, one to play on a very still summer night while you’re driving home. Of Monsters and Men has a very earthy tone, and this makes for a great vibe to enjoy in the middle of the night.

“Oh Ms. Believer” by Twenty One Pilots

A track that tugs at the heart, this is one that is certainly worth at least a listen. It’s a whole new side of the band that even I hadn’t quite expected. There’s a gentle emotion about this track that I know I will never get over, and that’s why it’s worth a space in your commute.

“Woodwork” by Sleeping At Last

Sleeping At Last is another band to listen to during a warm summer night drive. It’s calm and thoughtful, a very intimate genre. “Woodwork” is one of my favorites and definitely worth a listen.

“Your Glass House” by Atmosphere

A little more edgy, Atmosphere is a style of hip-hop that everyone can get on board with. It’s welcoming with it’d production but the lyrics always hit a little harder than many tracks.

“Handyman” by AWOLNATION

Along with “Table For One,” this is my favorite track from the band’s newest album. There’s a great deal of emotion in this track, which I always appreciate, especially when a band is as production heavy as this one.
